@wolfl thanks for the info… downloaded that Plugin works perfectly… will be raising the issue of the Variation Plugin with Woocommerce.
@Ed thank you for your time and patience with this matter
Thanks again
Hi Ed
I’ve removed one image which was in portrait and that has allowed the Variation images to show below the main image, so that is sorted, I will just need to resize the portrait image.
Still encountering the issue of the image overlaying the static one instead of zooming in. Any ideas on how to sort that?
Thanks again
As with wolfl I still have the same issues, i.e “The lens effect is also still loading the wrong (smaller) image to overlay the static one.” and variations are loading, but half way down the page.
Thanks
Thanks for confirming this @wolfl… I’ve watched your video and can confirm that my variation images do exactly the same when I hover over them. Instead of zooming in on the detail it simply overlays it with an image.
I’ve noticed that when I load the product page up for the first time the Featured Image and Gallery images are fine in that I can hover over and it will zoom in fine. However when I select a variation and then go back to the top of the list and select choose a colour (to show the featured image and gallery images again) the same issue with the variation images occurs.
@ed ….. With my images I do have one product image where the item is laid on it’s side. Meaning that its height is larger its width, the other images have more width than height. There wasn’t an issue with this previously but maybe it is causing the variation images to be shunted down the page for some reason.
Thanks
Thanks for the update.
Whilst the variation images appear, they now do not appear directly under the main image, e.g. as the featured image and gallery pictures do, they now appear half way down the page (where a user would not think to scroll that far) and they also take considerably longer to load (didn’t have this issue previously).
Also the hover over image also appears now not to work, instead of allowing the user to zoom in to view the product in detail a small version of the image appears in its place.
Additional help would be much appreciated

Thank you for the above comments.
I’ve updated the Atelier theme (Version: 2.4.34) and have then reverted back to the child theme, i’m afraid that it hasn’t made a difference for me.
I’ve tested the plugin with the standard Twenty Seventeen theme, and the variations appear using this theme. I’ve also checked and I am already running the latest version of the variation plugin (1.7.6).
@wolfl did anything change for you?Any further assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks again
Hi there
I have also encountered the same issue with the Additional Variation Images.
I am able to add them to the variation when setting up the product, but they do not appear on the product page on the front end of the site. When a user clicks the dropdown to view the different product variations, a single variation image appears which overlays the first of the gallery images, the other variation images do not appear.
Hopefully support can assist with our issue!
I’m afraid that i’m still having the same issue.
I’ve been into the Theme options as suggested by Support (above) and the bar still sporadically appears on the site.
Thanks

I have cleared the cache on my iPad and the issue still remains, I am also running the most upto date iOS software. The item is added into the cart and then almost straight away it is removed.
I’ve had a look at the the other issue also and have activated the Twenty Seventeen theme, but as i’m unable to add anything to the cart on the iPad I can’t get to the checkout to test whether this makes a difference.
Any additional help would be much appreciated.
