Thank you Rui.
I was able to fix the issue by modifying the function sf_get_category_list() to return an array of $category->cat_ID instead of and array of $category->cat_name. In our set up the category name is not unique but the category id is.
I have another question. The next/previous arrows in the single portfolio page don’t seem to be working correctly either. Perhaps it is a similar issue to the one we were having with the filters.
Can you please tell me what function generates the next/previous arrows in the single portfolio page and in what file is the function declared? And where is it called?
June 10, 2016 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Portfolio Category Filtering – Duplicate/Missing Category Names #273944The problem we are having is similar to a previous ticket:
It looks like it was solved with an adjustment to the function sf_portfolio_filter()
Can you tell me where this function is located in cardinal?
Thank you
June 10, 2016 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Portfolio Category Filtering – Duplicate/Missing Category Names #273891Hi. They appear on these two pages:
http://nativetile.com.s209117.gridserver.com/projects/residential/
http://nativetile.com.s209117.gridserver.com/projects/commercial/Ideally they should be treated as two separate portfolios of projects and be filtered by categories.
Not sure if I just have it setup wrong or if there’s something buggy going on.Trying to launch this one in the next couple days and this is sort of the last issue. Thanks for your help!
David, I installed the new Framework 2.1 plugin, but it doesn’t seem to have solved the problem. Please take another look when you can. Thanks.
Thanks, David. I deactivated the Swift Framework plugin and then tried to delete it, but it won’t delete, and I get a message: “You cannot delete a plugin while it is active on the main site.” Is there some other place I need to disable it? Tried to install the new plugin from zip, but it gives me an error as well, because the old one is still there.
This reply has been marked as private.I’m also experiencing this problem with a site we are building: Related Projects on an individual project page are just the four most recent posts (Portfolio Items) instead of posts only from the appropriate Category. In other words, the projects are NOT related.
can you please tell me where I can find sf_container_start and sf_header_wrap?
Thank you
I got it to work. Thank you!
That worked. Thank you!
Actually the button “Select or Upload Images” in the Gallery options disappears when I reach the 200 limit.
If I try uploading more than 200 I get an alert message “You may only upload maximum 200 files”.
It looks like Cardinal has some tests in place. Can you please tall me where this code is located?
And when I speak with the host, what should I tell them to change?
Thank you!
