gotcha, thanks anyway. can delete.
resolved. thank you.
i assume that if i want to change the style of the arrows, i would match the style name in the CSS you added.
you sure did. looks great, thank you!!
i got the slider settings back to where they were, but the addition of that custom CSS did not make the arrows appear for me. cleared cache, tried in firefox, safari, chrome.

i pasted the provided code into the custom CSS as shown in the attached pic.

thank you for the info. i was unaware of this new child theme necessity. i will give it a try.
the problem is the “responsive.css” file that loads lasts currently, hopefully this technique will override that and load the child’s css last. will update when i can get the child functions.php implemented.
thanks.
Ugh. well thanks for the tip for sure. the theme’s already huge, i’d hate to load the child twice.
is there ANY earthly reason why the child theme does not load last by default???
support crew? this seems ridiculous to me.
this did work, thanks.
it’s a bit of a hack though, as a parent’s CSS should never override the child theme’s. and now i have custom CSS is both the admin area, as well as my child theme’s style.css file which isn’t ideal, but does appear to function.
has this feature been added or is there a spot in the code that can be altered? i’d like the new to stay for longer as i don’t add products very often. 🙂
…also… the slider on your sample page … neighborwood.swiftideas.com also does not change on swipe on my iPhone. i have the latest iOS.
thanks, i got it updated, but there is no change on mobile. swiping does nothing.
i double checked that “touch enabled” is checked, and it is.
in order to do this, i need to delete the older version it seems, and upload this new version.
it warns me i’ll lose my data (sliders), which is a drag. is this the only way?
4.6
and 4.2.2 wordpress
that’s seems to work, thank you.
