Looks like I resolved it by adding a new one outside of the column. Not sure why it didn’t work inside it anymore. But happy it looks like it’s working now!

This was hard to find – but found it for anyone else needing it:

.portfolio-items:not(.single-column) > li figure:hover img{
-moz-transform: scale(1);
-webkit-transform: scale(1);
-o-transform: scale(1);
-ms-transform: scale(1);
transform: scale(1);
}

Changing ‘1’ to 1.1 or 1.2 etc. gives control over scale factor.

Yes! The flashes – sometimes they hang around – sometimes it’s just on animation – sometimes it’s just on resize – but all in all the end result just looks like it’s broken – made of jumbled bricks. So thanks for investigating!

Hmmm yeah I can see the single pixel white horizontal lines appearing in your screen cast.
