It seems version 3.3.8 is now available but the link is not updated.
I get the “Update package not available.” error when I try to update.

Hi – I solved this by copying the original WooCommerce plugin file (woocommerce/single-product/tabs/description.php) into the child theme. This gets the content into the description field.
