I’m not seeing any options for updating it to a new version. It currently says 1.60 though, but doesn’t show an available update.
Hey David – I noticed that I have a child theme from when I used the Neighborhood theme..but I don’t see a child theme listed for Atelier. What’s the easiest way to create one and then add that PHP? Rookie over here when it comes to that kind of thing.
Thanks in advance.
Ah crap sorry guys. I meant related articles. You can see them at the bottom of the link I provided. It shows the thumbnail and the author, but I’d like for it to not display the author (since there’s only one for all of them) and display the custom excerpt.
This reply has been marked as private.I updated that and it still doesn’t seem to be working. Here’s what I’ve got:
<form action”//gtsclothing.us6.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=002e4f0740091545bef9cee39&id=1e9283bf74″ method=”post” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” name=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” class=”validate” target=”_blank” novalidate>
<input type=”email” value=”” name=”EMAIL” class=”required email” id=”mce-EMAIL” autocomplete=”off” placeholder=”Enter your email address” title=”Enter your email address”>
<div id=”mce-responses” style=”display: none;”>
<div class=”response” id=”mce-error-response” style=”display:none”></div>
<div class=”response” id=”mce-success-response” style=”display:none”></div>
</div> <!– real people should not fill this in and expect good things – do not remove this or risk form bot signups–>
<div style=”position: absolute; left: -5000px;”><input type=”text” name=”b_a3950048c69f7be72a27013a9_68a002176a” tabindex=”-1″ value=””></div><input type=”submit” value=”SUBSCRIBE” name=”subscribe” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe”>
</form>
It was processing the opt in when I was using my original code…any other ideas as to what I could be doing wrong?
Okay thanks Kyle. I found the code and swapped it into your demo code. Everything looks great on the front end however when I enter an email address and click submit, it just opens the current page again in a new tab. Here’s the code I’m using:
<form action”http://gtsclothing.us6.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=002e4f0740091545bef9cee39&id=1e9283bf74″ method=”post” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” name=”mc-embedded-subscribe-form” class=”validate” target=”_blank” novalidate>
<input type=”email” value=”” name=”EMAIL” class=”required email” id=”mce-EMAIL” autocomplete=”off” placeholder=”Enter your email address” title=”Enter your email address”>
<div id=”mce-responses” style=”display: none;”>
<div class=”response” id=”mce-error-response” style=”display:none”></div>
<div class=”response” id=”mce-success-response” style=”display:none”></div>
</div> <!– real people should not fill this in and expect good things – do not remove this or risk form bot signups–>
<div style=”position: absolute; left: -5000px;”><input type=”text” name=”b_a3950048c69f7be72a27013a9_68a002176a” tabindex=”-1″ value=””></div><input type=”submit” value=”SUBSCRIBE” name=”subscribe” id=”mc-embedded-subscribe”>
</form>
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks Rui! I was able to figure it out using your code. It looks great on my site – however the demo form content didn’t include how to add those new signups to a specific Group within Mailchimp. Are you able to help me with how to add code to include a specific group to add the new subscribers to? I can provide login details if necessary.
Thanks
Isn’t that a little odd? Why even have a left arrow if it does the same function as any other arrow. Would love to see that fixed in a future update.
Gotcha. Makes sense. So is there a way to set it up like I was saying? To have it always slide left when it’s self-loading, but if someone clicks the directional arrows is ACTUALLY goes in that direction?
Oh yeah both arrows show up, but if you click on the left arrow the slide still advances to the next, it doesn’t go back to the previous slide. The left arrow should slide the slide to the right, the right arrow should slide it to the left.
That worked perfectly for both the Contact page and the space below footer on the about page. thanks kyle.

Should be good to go now. You caught me right in the middle of transferring my test site to my live site.
