    On the phone, the text is still way at the top for the large introductory text. This happens for all pages.

    Any way to fix this?

    UPDATE

    I would really like to get this fixed. Here’s how to reproduce:

    Visit greysignal.com >> Click Tour

    Notice the top parallax loads about two inches.. waits for a few seconds, then loads the rest, a few seconds later will load the text. By the time that all loads, the visitor has already clicked away.

    Is there a way to have that load first then everything else?

    Has anyone else experience this?

    On a mobile browser (iphone) the text gets pushed and overlaps with the logo on all my pages.

    visit greysignal.com on a mobile browser. The home page has no spacing between logo and text.

    greysignal.com/backup horribly overlaps with the logo. (why?)
    greysignal.com/education does also.
    greysignal.com/business does also.

    Melanie, everything is loading fine on my end! Checked on different ISP’s also.

    I am still trying to figure out this jump and slow initial loading. (greysignal.com/tour in particular) no words at the top even show until after a few seconds after.

    It still loads a little clip at the top, then after a few seconds will pop down.

    The big code image should basically fix the user’s window and stretched out, not wait for everything to load and then open and show the text. This happens on all my pages with that. /business /healthcare /education

    I think I know why –

    There is a Google Maps API that hangs. For some reason, every page loads some type of Google Maps API.

    Please turn that off.

    1) This doesn’t fix it. Notice on the homepage (greysignal.com) how the logo is sized and positioned – I’d like it to stay where it is at, just simply flip to black. Right now, its jumping to the top and the size changes.

    2) Size is now set to 256px.

    3) It is still jumpy. Ed, can you fix so it doesn’t jump so bad? Load the main page, you’ll notice a big jump/lag before the video even loads and the text shows. Gives the site a buggy/slow feel. Visit greysignal.com/backup to see how everything gets bumped around too much. Not very flowy 🙁

    We build business software, and this theme really made it easy for us to showcase some of this. Still a work in progess, but you’ll get the gist 🙂
