I’ve tried using the Better WordPress Minify plugin and it breaks apart my site. It gives me this warning.

“Warning: Cache directory /var/chroot/home/content/02/7782902/html/wp-content/plugins/bwp-minify/cache/ does not exist and can not be created automatically. Please manually create the cache folder and make sure that it is writable for Minify to perform more efficiently.”

Would this prevent site from breaking apart?

how was this resolved? I have the same thing happening, where the page doesn’t load and gets hung up on “transfering data from maps.googleapis.com”

Found it. It was a setting in the Edit Portfolio Item > Meta Options. Under “Detail Media Options”, the Post Detail Type needed to be set to “None”. It was set to image somehow and with no image uploaded, it was rendering that blank landscape slide.

Just fyi, there is a built in function in most recent version of theme.
Go To Theme Options > General Options > Hover Overlay Opacity to change the transparency of thumbnail overlays.

Hi Mohammad, I had the same issue but this fix made the whole box a red color. How do you make it transparent? Thanks!
