I added some more pictures of some new products, they seem to work fine. However they are zoomed in the carousels on the home page. The pictures also work in the intended category page.
They fail to view properly in the main shop page though. Very weird.
Edit: Maybe I just need to reduce the height of the pictures on the woocommerce page? I just remembered that the category pages are not WooCommerce pages, they are custom built.
Edit 2: If I should try and change the height of the pictures, please let me know what to use.
Current settings are:
Catalog Images: 540 x 720 Hardcropped (don’t know what hardcropped is)
Single Product Image: 540 x 720 Hardcropped
Product Thumbnails: 120 x 178 HardcroppedBy the way, while I’m at it. Along with WooCommerce layered nav I’m using WooCommerce Product Search and WooCommerce Cart in my menu. But these widgets work on the subcategory pages. What’s the difference? ^o)
Hmm alright. If I make a new custom menu, as I’ve done with the subcategories for the shop, but for my brands. Is there a way to create in a curtain way? So customers can minimize it and expand it as they go?
Hi Kyle,
I see, but that would in turn make it impossible for me to put a text block above the products. Correct?
Is there another widget/plugin that I can use for this purpose?
Thanks!
Not that I can recall. I’ve been working on the site on and off for quite some time. I had a look in WooCommerce settings and the product image size settings looks familiar. But I honestly don’t know if I changed any of it.
Hi Melanie,
Uhm 600? It must be the ones that came with the Neighborhood theme, I’ve added maybe 10-15 pictures. If that. Oh well, if it works I’m happy 🙂
Thanks!
Hi Melanie,
No the sidebar has been assigned to all pages manually. It’s there in almost all it’s glory on all of the pages. Except for the brand dropdown.
Thanks
Hi Ed,
Ah for the love of God, how stupid of me! Thanks for clearing that up!
I’m a bit unsure what to put in the feedback modal, is it intended as feedback for the specific product or general feedback? Any advice on what makes sence and looks good to have in that field?
That worked great, you’re great Kyle! Thanks alot!
Hi Mohammad,
I tried creating one with Contact Form 7 but I don’t understand how. I think my problem is that I removed Contact Form 7 a while ago, since I’m using Ninja Forms for my contact form.
When the feedback button had some actual content it had 5 stars that you got to choose from, a topic and a comment field. I’d like that back, along with a captcha if that is possible. Can you please help me?
Thanks a ton in advance!
Rui thanks for the reply, I got the contact form sorted with Mohammads help.
I’m trying to get a feedback form in place now. Is there a shortcode for the feedback model?
Thanks Kyle, but I’m totally new to CSS, where should I insert this?
Thanks in advance!
Confirmed, problem solved. Thanks alot!
Where do I find those shortcodes?
Thanks Mohammad, that worked great.
Before I updated to the new version there was already a feedback modal in place. It’s not now after the update. Is there a nifty little shortcode for this as well?
