    Hi Kyle.

    Yes, of course.

I have a site configured mainly as onepager with deeplinks to row-IDs. I have a main-menu mainly with #-links (e.g. #news or #contact) – leading to an animation down to a specific row.

    But..

I also have further PAGES I have to link to (e.g. “Imprint”) – leaving the onepager.

Now my main-menu does not work anymore with #-links – now I need different links to e.g. http://site.com/#contact – instead of simply #contact because in my Imprint-page there is no row #contact. Therefore I need two different menus.

But the mobile-menu does not support to be overwritten. What now? I´m forced to use the complete url in the mobile-menu (http://site.com/#contact) – even if I am on the onepager – and this leads always to a page reload instead of an animation down to the adressed content.

So it´s the same as with the main-menu. I need a different menu for specific pages.

I think I can workaround this with a double-item mobile-navigation with specific CSS per link so I can hide links on specific pages…

…but not providing the same functionality for the main-menu and the mobile-menu makes a onepager-additional-pages-scenario impossible to do out of the box.

Hm, Christopher Deane described exactly this scenario at the top with much less words 😉

    Kind regards.

    Hi Kyle.

I apologize if my response was not polite. Do you think this feature will come?

    Kind regards.

    Hi swiftideas.

    Thank you for implementing this.

I have an issue to report: in my case deeplinking to a tab does not show the content of the tab. If you click http://bnbm.de/de/home-edit/#hanscraft-co the specific tab is open and the page is scrolled to that position (not really, it´s scrolled to a wrong position, but I asked for that in a different post). But the deep link to the first tab does not show the tab content at all: http://bnbm.de/de/home-edit/#hans-mueller

    Do i do something wrong?

    Thank you and kind regards.

    Hi swiftideas.

Oh, wow, sorry, but I think this is crucial to have. Being able to decide between different menus – but not mobile-menus – is nonsense.

It would be great if this cold be done.

    Thank you.

    Hi Swiftideas.

I have to add something here: I have a onepager with a scrollnavigation to a set of rows. With page transitions active the transition-animation is shown even when scrolling down to a row. The standard menu does not behave like this.

I also realize that the mobile-menu changes the url shown in the adress-bar – the standard-menu does not do this as well.

This is not Android-specific. Small sized desktop-browsers do this as well. Mac, Win, Android, whatever.

    URL: http://bnbm.de/de/home-edit

    Best regards.

    Hi Ed.

    I try to clarify:

    http://bnbm.de/de/
#logo a with header 8: in Chrome and Safari it´s height: 42px; In FF and IE it´s height: 82px; (I did override this to 42px, if you uncheck my CSS -line 78- in developer tools you see the difference).

    Why is that?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ed.

    Thanks for answering.

But why is this setting different for Chrome/Safari vs. fF/IE?

Okay, it´s in! Thank you all.

I´ll test some possible combinations of deeplinking and I´m really looking forward to the results.

    Thanks again.

Ah okay. So I´m new on WordPress. How do I update the Theme? 🙂

Do I do it via envato?

    Thanks Rui

    Hey Ed.

Will my WordPress inform me about the update? Or do I have to do anything manually?

    Hi Sotiris.

Wow, thank you. I really appreciate this. I will have a look at this.

But nevertheless my favorite solution would be the extension of the Cardinal-tab – in order to have a reliable ínterface so my client is able to edit the contents. Maybe I would be able to implement this with some time and effort, but my client won´t be. Never. 😉

So I´m looking foward to Ed´s answer.

But again: thank you for your efforts. Maybe I can use this in some other project.

    Hi Rui.

    Thanks for answering.

So do you think this will come? And do you have an idea when? 🙂

I´m asking because this might be crucial for me how to set up my content. If it comes within some weeks or even months it would be worth for me to set up my content like this and wait for the update. If not I have to choose a different approach.

    Thanks again.

    Sascha
