That was it. I removed single.php from the child theme and the related images came back. I updated single.php in the child theme to include the new code for related images from the latest Dante update, so I was able to use my modified single.php and still have the related images work as expected.
Many people don’t realize that just because you are using a child theme you are not always safe from theme updates crashing your code. If you are replacing core files there is a good chance these files will be modified by the theme authors and could break your child theme versions. I should have thought of this before I started the thread. Oh well, maybe it will help someone else.
You guys (or girls) are always on top of things and I thank you for the great support and a great theme.

QuesTronix SoftwareI am experiencing the same issue. Related images worked for over 1 year and then suddenly started showing pen image.
BTW: I have updated all plugins and tried removing plugins. I believe it is related to the last Dante update.
Plz help.
Thanks,

That fixed it. Dante support comes through again.
Thank you.
Cliff DuganI disabled the custom css and the problem is still there. It is related to the number of posts being divisible by 3. I have several other Draft posts waiting to be enabled and if I enable them so the total number of Published posts is divisible by 3, the problem goes away.
I found the php for the related posts in .\wp-content\themes\dante\swift-framework\page-builder\builder\shortcodes\recent-posts.php can you point me to the javascript that does the masonry layout?
Thanks,
Cliff DuganBTW: I’m a developer and this is the 5th client that I’ve gotten to register the Dante Theme – the reason I have been able to do this, is that I told them your support was great – don’t disappoint me on this one.
Thanks again.
That’s great – it worked perfectly. I was also able to use a shortcode to add social buttons with the RSS icon in the copyright area as well.
I would think that many people would want the RSS icon and it’s very common to put it with social buttons – maybe you could add this as a standard feature in a future release.
Is there a way to control highlight color? I was able to use style=”light” in the copyright area to get the buttons visible. Is there more detailed doc available on shortcodes and their parameters?
Thanks.
