Thanks Kyle!
That makes sense. In terms of renaming the child them, I assume it doesn’t need to have child in the name, just that in the style.css file for the child theme, I rename the theme to the same name I named the child folder i.e. ‘foldername’ and in the style.css file for the child them, name the theme ‘foldername’ as well, right?
Thanks Again,
Todd
Thanks Kyle,
I actually found that the page transition animate feature was causing my site speed to slow down drastically. Once I removed this option, my pages started to load much quicker.

Hi Kyle,
I was about to ask a similar question until I came across this. I tested changing both the name of the Cardinal folder and Cardinal child folders to the name of the new site and updated the style.css file for the child them to use the new style.css from the new main site theme folder, formerly the main cardinal folder and it seemed to work ok. I guess my question would be if this is not the best way forward and if it is just better as you mentioned to rename the child folder?
My concern as above it to prevent any competitors from seeing what framework I am developing on and two, to have the theme name customized to my clients site name so they are not thinking I just installed a theme and didn’t do all of the work that I am actually doing on top of your great core platform.
I look forward to hearing from you on this. Thanks

I tried to hide the related portfolios block as well. I was able to hide it using the same css:
.related-projects{
display:none!important;
}but there is now a white space between my content and the footer that I can’t hide. You mentioned that this was fixed for the next update? I am running 1.8 and I am not seeing an option to hide the related portfolios block.

I agree! This would be a great addition!
Thanks @artoni. That update worked perfectly for me. :-).
Please let me know about the resolution to this error as well. I had to roll back to 1.56 as the mobile menu links were not working on both 1.6 and 1.7 for me.

Thanks Rui!
I was actually looking for the same answer. It would be great if we could at least add 1 more row to shrink the size of the images a bit more as I have it on another project I developed. See attached.
Let me know if there is an easy way to add an additional row. Thx!

August 18, 2014 at 6:24 pm in reply to: How to change number related products & shopping cart icon/text? #102098I can see both of those options, but neither of them are the ‘quickview’ option. One of the icons is for quickly adding a product to your cart or in the case of a product with variations, it displays the icon as shown in the screenshot you shared, but that will just take you to view the product page. The other icon that is visible is the ‘add to wishlist’ icon. There should be a 3rd icon that displays for the ‘quickview’ option as it does in some of your demos, but it’s not displaying for me.

#4 I have the quickview plugin installed and I checked the settings, see attached. It seems that no matter what I change, the quickview option does not display.
Thanks again for all your help. Looking forward to future releases of this awesome theme!

You must be logged in to view attached files.I noticed an issue with the ‘number of posts displayed per page’ blog post module settings.
If I choose to display 6 posts per page, but I only have 5 posts listed on my site, nothing displays on the page. If anything, it should display up to the maximum number of posts per page.
I spent a few hours last night after uploading my site trying to figure out why my blog page was not showing until I finally discovered this issue.
