    Hi,

    thanks for following up on this and sorry for my bad explanation.

    As far as I know the slide down effect has always been there in Atelier. I can tell for sure because it was one of the cool design features among others that I noticed before purchasing the theme back in April.

    Unrelated to this, I stumbled upon a layout issue yesterday (see screenshot, didn’t want to open another thread for this).
    The woocommerce message does not resize/fit properly and breaks the page layout on the right.
    It appears when there are no products in a given category AND there is a (woocommerce) left sidebar menu, only on desktop.

    thanks

    Hi Ed,
    thanks for the help but it’s still the same for me on 1.31.
    What is driving me crazy is that I still see this on multiple machines, browsers and OSes after 1.22, on my site and on yours.

    I want to make sure I explained myself clearly: the hero heading is fine now, it’s just the quick slide down animation on page load that is fixed on the heading image, ONLY on product pages.

    Also after the 1.31 update I see the code “—below” exposed in the upper-left part of the page, between the global banner and the product image (see screenshot).
    It appears only on this ‘Extended Product’ page http://swiftideas.com/product/padded-jacket/, not on other products, on my site and on your demo site.

    Do you see this too? maybe it has something to do with the heading issue?

    Hi,

    after clearing the cache I still see no heading animation in product pages, neither on atelier demo site or on my 1.31 installation.

    All the other pages (product category, shop all products, about us, etc) are fine with the proper slide-out hero-tabbed animation as before.

    I confirmed the same issue on both Chrome 44.0.2403.18 beta and Firefox 38.0.1 for Mac.

    I have an old 1.22 installation and there are no issues. It looks like the problem started with something in the 1.30 update in product pages only.

    Hi,

    hero tabbed is now fixed in 1.31 but the hero heading slide out animation on first load does not show anymore (again, only on product pages, also seen on demo site http://swiftideas.com/product/gift-card/). It is fixed.

    Can you get the animation back for consistency with the other pages? Also it’s a pretty cool effect.

    thanks

    that’s it.
    Simple and clean solution.

    I guess your secret weapon lies in that ’99’ I would never get by myself 🙂

    Many thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    ok the image looks much better now.

    Text still jumps to the top of the page though, not centered on portrait.

    Hope there will be a better fix in the future so that it will be as good-looking as before.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    I tried the code you suggested but unfortunately the old icon is still displayed.

    function sf_atelier_header_my_custom_contact_icon() {
    		return '<i class="fa-envelope-o"></i>';
    	}

    remove_filter('sf_header_contact_icon', 'sf_atelier_header_contact_icon');
    add_filter('sf_header_contact_icon', 'sf_atelier_header_my_custom_contact_icon');

    Tried also with $hooks, include_once() and ! function_exists() parameters to no avail.

    I saw a few posts in the forums about the contact icon customization with no straightforward solution (other than editing the parent theme), it would be great if the developer could add a simple theme option to use the Font Awesome icon, a custom icon or some free text like mentioned in this Cardinal post:

    http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/header-contact-slideout-icon-change-to-text-cardinal/

    thanks

    Hi,

    I have a staging 1.20 atelier installation and it was ok before updating.
    After updating to 1.21 the cart/wishlist is messed up on mobile.

    Definetely a 1.21 issue.

    In the meanwhile I checked other Swiftideas themes and can confirm it is an Atelier issue.

    Try to resize the browser window to mobile/tablet size.

    – JOYN coming soon page: no problem

    Coming Soon

    – ATELIER coming soon page: same problem with bg image
    http://swiftideas.com/pages/coming-soon/

    – ATELIER maintenance mode page: same problem without bg image
    http://swiftideas.com/pages/maintenance-mode/

    Hope it can be fixed soon as my coming-soon page is live now with this issue.

    thanks

    Hi,

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean. The screenshot is from your Atelier demo site.
    Two weeks ago it was ok on any screen, no matter the ratio.

    Anyway I tried with a squared image on my installation and the problem is the same.

    It looks like the image is no longer properly zoomed/centered as it used to be on mobile, it is just resized.

    Has somthing changed in wordpress or atelier code in the meanwhile maybe?

    EDIT: see another screenshot with the desktop browser window resized to tablet size: the background image resizes really badly, likely a code issue

    thanks

    thanks again

    Hi Kyle,

    I just saw that your css trick forces the resizing also on mobile, shrinking the header and page by the set amount.

    Is there some additional css code to exclude the resize on mobile?

    Thanks
