Ok, I removed the putRevSlider code from my header.php file, then I re-added the rev slider using page builder. It is now the full width of my box layout (yay!), but then I had white space at the top of the slider. To remove it, you have to go into the slider options and turn off the blank space option. Thanks for your help, Laranz.

Found it. You have to go to Appearance > Widgets and add a widget to the appropriate footer column on the right-hand side. Use the text widget for simple text, adding HTML for line breaks.

I figured out how to re-order the elements by editing the master template CSS code. No need to respond!

I am using the Rev slider and I also have white space on either side of my images. My slider image dimensions are 350×1000 pixels, the same width as my boxed page layout. Thanks for the help!
