    Concerning the other topic: i’ll switch my hosting provider, because the php-owner permission changes as mentioned above did not work out at least – and confused me even more 🙁

    Ed – another question: instead of a logo image i’d like to use wordpress blog titel AND subtitle – is there a function/hook to use the standard wordpress subtitle below the title? when i delete the logo image in cardinal settings the blog title appears within the header – but there’s no way to display the subtitle – why is that?

    Ed, thanks i appreciate your efforts to make me a happy customer 🙂
    so i took another couple of hours to fix it!
    i figured out its a php safemode issue: if your server runs php in safemode you have to change the owner of scripts for the wordpress upload directory from your user name to PHP-user – within the server admin of your hosting provider (changing of folder permissions via ftp makes no difference) – than cardinal is able to create the redux folder with a google-fonts subfolder.

    thanks Ed – it would be nice to get the theme update workaround as soon as possible!
    hope that fixes the issue.

    customizer – after having trouble with it – i reset all theme functions and did an ftp upload of all theme files, since that customiser seems to work.

    .. for the color customiser – the previews not working – i try to make changes and can’t preview them, so i searched a long time – for example to change the color settings of the header. after getting this to work – the one page side navigation dots have turned into a black box with a counter (1/9) and arrows. thats all a little bit exhausting – and for me much faster with css.

    how long do you need for that?
    i spend several hours with cardinal and run into a lot of bugs (with Google Fonts, with the missing wordpress tagline, the color theme design editor).
    i’m thinking about using a framework – because costumization – the way i need is so difficult with Cardinal.
    it depends – how long do you need to fix these issues.
