Thanks Guys, that worked
I noticed that it caused all other pages to show their headings + breadcrumbs underneath the header, so by adding the homepages ID to the css solved the problem like so:
.page-id-6 .header-wrap {
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
}Thanks again
This reply has been marked as private.Thanks Mohammad – the install is on localhost (not online)
It is is the default install, you can try it on your demo with header 1 selected
Thanks – The same thing happens, the header background becomes gray. If I then change the customizer>color page> background and make that white – then the header becomes solid white again (with no transparency)
So the opacity setting works but it is connected to the page background somehow.
I want to see the rev slider images “see through” below the header like with Headers 3/4/5
Thanks!
Great thanks – will that be the same for most other themes as well?
If I can just replace one file rather than spending hours redo-ing customizations that’s a bonus!
Thanks Ed, that’s great
My Q is whether this is really so serious?
Enfold: “To exploit the class you would need admin access anyways so the chance that something bad happens is really slim”
Can I get away with not updating now? ( since there are many customisations (and lots of work to do….))
Thanks

Works a treat except the normal header (fix no 1) is a bit too close to the top because of the 0px padding. The problem is if you make it even 1px then you get the big gap again?
Any ideas why that happens?
Thanks

Do you have a css fix now without having to wait for the update?
Please advise thanks
Thanks
What do you mean:”Please check after remove revolution slider.” I’m not going to remove it from the page as it is a part of the design?
Despite you help (for which I’m grateful) – I think at this point I can’t afford the time to try and make the One Page navigation work correctly any longer plus I can’t risk having other browser compatibility problems with something as basic, yet very important as the main navigation system for a website – if this doesn’t work a 100% then it creates a lot of problems for the site, users and the client.
Unless Ed has a solid fix for this then I’ll call it a day and drop the One page idea.
Thanks again
This reply has been marked as private.Thanks – I’m only working in the Rev slider.
Does that affect things?
Thanks Mohammad,
The difference I see is that now: the menu does highlight the active state from outside anchor links (main nav to show the current area) and the landing position is no longer hidden behind the sticky menu. But the position is still not exactly right, it is now about 200px below where it should display?So here is a list of outstanding issues to get the One Page navigation to work properly:
– the anchor links from other pages back to the ‘one page’ do not land on the right spot on the page (it is now about 200px below)
– For the one page navigation menu: how do you get ‘Home’ to jump to the very top of the page (without reloading the page again)?
– when the page first loads, you want ‘home’ to be highlighted in the menuThanks very much for your help with this
Thanks, well that seems to work.
What changes to the code did you make? Please list the changes and lets see if we can sort this outThanks very much
And also: For the one page navigation menu: how do you get ‘Home’ to go back to the very top of the page?
If you use the custom link: http://www.domain.com/#top then the Home menu item stays highlighted at all times.If you use just # or #top for the link URL then nothing happens when you click on it?
You can’t use a spacer id, because it doesn’t go to the very top of the page
Plus- when the page first loads, you want ‘home’ to be highlighted
Please advise thanks
