No worries, I ended up creating a new page and it works on the new page so that is our new home page. Thanks.

I just realized that when I add it to the meta field and then update the page the meta Rev alias field is blank again. Any thoughts why it would be clearing out the field upon update?

I tried the steps listed in the link but I am still missing something because the Revolution Slider called homeslider is still not displaying. Could you enlighten me on the steps to take before updating the page meta?
