This is a live site. Any feedback would be appreciated otherwise I will have to roll back to the backup soon

ok.
Did the 2 updates.
Now we have a white screen of death again and I have not even touched the woocommerce update yet

This update totally messes up everything.

Most of the stuff was in the woocommerce .po .mo files.
Awaiting for wishlist plugin update now 😉
