Thanks, it’s there now.
August 26, 2015 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Disable fancy header opening up animation on page load #207794Thank you Mohammad. One last thing I noticed after disabling the fancy header animation on load: the image takes a second to load/show. Is there a way to make the image appear faster? It looks as if it isn’t loading properly because of the delay.
Thanks
August 25, 2015 at 5:24 pm in reply to: Disable fancy header opening up animation on page load #207387Thank you Mohammad, I copied and pasted the code into my child theme and the fancy header is now disabled. Is there also a way to remove the parallax effect on the fancy header when I scroll down? I see that the animation on scroll is choppy (not smooth).
Thanks
August 25, 2015 at 1:06 am in reply to: Disable fancy header opening up animation on page load #206989Hello David,
I copied and pasted the code into my child theme style.css, but the animation is still there. I’m not sure how this code relates with the fancy header animation on load as it doesn’t seem to target that area.
Thank you
Hi Kyle,
Thanks so much! It worked.
Hi Ed, thanks I was able to resolve this problem through the other developer of the plugin.
Thank you for your help throughout this
Hi Ed, I have updated to 5.0.4.1. After awhile, I noticed the slider moved on to the next one. However, the images are still not panning (animating up/down) like it used to. Do you know what could be causing the problem / perhaps I need to turn something on? I have kenburns on.
Thanks
Thanks Ed, I updated the slider and notice differences.
1. The image doesn’t go to the next one automatically.
2. The image doesn’t pan like it used to eg. first image would go from bottom to top slowly
3. The left and right arrows are gone and the circular thumbnails near the bottom look chunkierI’m tinkering around in the rev slider settings and image slider settings, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing.
Hi there, I was able to resolve this while tinkering around some more with Safari web inspector. I had added max-width: 100% in my child theme for earlier theme version to adjust the size. I guess this did not sit well with Safari in the new theme update. Not sure why though, but glad it is fixed!
Hi Ed,
I am noticing a problem even when I switch over to the Twenty 15 theme. And since I upgraded to the newest Dante Theme version, the logo on Safari looks squashed. I’m wondering why the theme seems to be having issues with Safari.
Thank you for your help
Thanks, Ed. Were other plugins deactivated as you tested this out? I will send this screen recording to Theme Punch.
Hi Ed, I have tested the plugin with the default WordPress theme and it was working fine on Safari. This was one of the steps the developers at Revolution slider had me do, and once they found out that it was working fine with the default WordPress, they believed it was not a problem with their plugin and urged me to report back to Swift Ideas.
At this point I’m not sure what to do. I have been back and forth between Swift Ideas and revolution plugin support 3 times. What do you suggest I do now?
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Nishant, this only happens on Safari.
Ed, could I somehow give you my login so you can do any testing you need on the website?
Thanks
Thanks Ed, I’ve tried disabling all plugins already and the slider still had the issue. I’m not sure what version of Safari she is using, but I’m using 8.0.6 and I can see the problem. She mentioned it only happens to her on the home page where the slider is and not to any other pages.
Let me know if you need a login to the backend to check things out.
Thanks so much for your assistance thus far
