Also interested in this. From messing with the HTML, it looks like setting container to container-fluid on the individual elements makes them full-width, but not sure how best to get Dante to use that class instead.
Thanks!

Thank you. I’ve applied your fix, it’s working beautifully.
Is there a way for us to do this in a way that allows us to upgrade the theme as necessary without losing this change? Or will theme upgrades just include this?
Thanks!
Ankur
Installed the plugin and also made you an admin.
Be advised: the site is running under a child theme of Dante, not Dante itself (though both are installed, obviously).
Also, this is a clone site, so I’ll need to mimic your changes on the actual production site.
Thanks!

Sorry, in the time since, I’ve gotten clearer details about their browser/platform combination.
Chrome Version 34.0.1847.131
Windows 7 Professional
1680×1050Those all appear recent enough to render correctly?
Thanks!

This reply has been marked as private.Yeah, we’re on Dante 2.53 and WP 3.9. Is there a debug mode or something I can enable?
I’m on OS X Mavericks, Chrome 34. Also reproducible on Safari 7.
Client is on Win7, Chrome34.We’re on completely different networks, though we’re in the same city.

Yes, it works correctly outside of the tour, just not inside the tour.
Inside the tour, any window resize appears to fix it, but the initial load is messed up.
How can we fix that?
Thanks!

Nothing interesting in dev tools — no errors or network issues.
It does seem like it’s calculating some offset on the page wrong — as you navigate around the map, the right half is consistently grayed out, even if that same part of the map used to be visible previously.
Funnily enough, opening and closing dev tools fixes it reliably. I think that just triggers a recalculation of something in the widget again.
Is it possible that this is because the widget is inside the vertical tab section or something?
Thanks!
Ankur
Both of us. Let me see if anything interesting shows up in dev tools.

We’re still seeing the problem. I’m on OS X and Chrome. I think the client is on Windows. What browser/platform combination are you using?
Thanks!

Sorry, I meant to. The URL is:

The behavior is in the footer.
Thanks!

Okay, thank you for your help.
In general, the functionality I’ve added seems like a useful feature. Along with “Link to post”, this would basically be “Link to post in lightbox”.
I’ve already implemented it in the theme, how can I submit it to you guys as a patch to consider including in the next version of the theme? If it saves other people time from having to build it themselves, not sure how that’s a bad thing.
Thanks!
Ankur
I’m not asking you to customize the theme, I’m doing the customization.
I’m just asking what your best practices are so that future theme updates don’t break my customization.
Thank you,
Ankur
Sorry, I should have been clearer.
I can use the media-queries to make the tabs full-width at 568px or whatever, but I’m hoping there’s a different, better visual treatment for iPads? They have a lot more room, but the spacing with the current styles just look funny.
Is there different CSS we can apply for the intermediate breakpoints (iPad-portrait for example) that possibly does something different and more appropriate?
Thanks!
Ankur
Thank you Kyle — that helps, specifically for that break-point. iPhone5-landscape (568px), iPad-portrait (768px), etc still look a little funny.
What would it take to get a comprehensive fix?
Thanks!
Ankur
