Hi Rui,
thanx for your patience…
But its really not working.
Had cleared the caches already and tested it in Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
But it´s not working… (look I´ve put together screenshots from the hovers)The only place where it works is in the “blog post carousel” at the bottom (see screenshot)…

I can´t see any change at all – sorry.
Except, that now not even the “text” in the box is linked…Can you please have a look at it again…
Thanx,
Daniel

sorry, but glad to hear that… I was thinking I am toooo stupid to just get a “find and replace” going…
Guys, at this point already: MANY THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Looking forward to your solution.
Cheers – Daniel
Hi Kyle,
and thank you for your help… but I´ve tried the “find and replace” function already (in Dreamweaver and also in Simple-Text) with the whole and also with only some parts of the code… but I can´t find the line Rui described…
If you can… could you just send me the line number please…
…and tell me, if I have to make only the changes from Ruis last post (#146753) or also the ones of (#146717).Sorry but I got confused after his “wrong place” and I am a rookie… 😉
If you agree you could also help me on the file itself… I haven´t changed anything else, than the described in this thread – so there is no other “risks”… please 😉
(adding the “original” and the “modified (according to Ruis help)” sf-post-formats.php)Thank you very much,
Daniel

can´t find your line in the code… and I am loosing track a little.
1. Do I have to make the change from post #146717?
2. And can you please help me find the lines from your last post…?Sorry for my “ignorance”… 😉
Thanx.
DanielThanks Rui,
but had no effect on the background…
Any other idea?Maybe something like the “whole
- ” (<li style=”position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;” class=”blog-item recent-post span4 format-standard isotope-item”>)
??? 😉
Daniel
Hi,
found, replaced, works!
But: it´s now only the text… is there a way to get the “whole box” to become a link… I mean, also the grey background – see attached…Thanks once again,
Daniel

thank you very much – copied the file into the child theme folder and wanted to copy in the line you send my. But can´t finde the position. Can´t find “$post_item .= ‘<div class=”excerpt”>‘. $post_excerpt .’</div>’;”
Could you please give me a more detailed position…
I´m attaching you the sf-post-format.php…Many thanks,
Daniel
Hi Rui,
more likely it is the whole background of that text or the whole box…
I´ve tried to screenshoot it with the class… see if that works for you…many thanks – Daniel
