Solved! Thanx!
Yes, hello. I am running 1.51.
My issues:
1:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ‘’ (ASCII=8) state=0 in /data/web/1/000/080/470/331475/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/dante/includes/sf-theme-functions.php on line 135

I tried to set up a fancy header background on a new page. neither the fancy header background image shows up nor the asset background. …
Have a look:
http://www.alm-and-alp.de/about-us/our-offices/4:
I still have the case that the fancy header background image moves behind the page title, while dragging the bowser window. but I will check Bobby’s code. I think too, that we are talkung about preferences and not bugs. It makes sense that the background moves in cases and that it is fix in other cases. …By the way: You need a password to enter the page: alm&alpgmbh!
Merry Christmas 😉
EDIT (10min later): I have checked Bobby’s Code. That is exactly what I wanted to have. Apart from the new issues the original problem is solved for me.
Hi Ed. When is the next update coming? I still have the issues with the fancy header image. And scince the last update I have other problems, too. Best
Are you asking me? I just tried to update the theme.
1. I deleted the theme folder and uploaded the new one: Same Error
2. I activated a new theme, uninstalled the Dante theme, uploaded the new Dante theme and activated again: Same Error.Am I doing something wrong?
P.S. Setting an API Key was successfull
After updating the theme I get this Error:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ‘’ (ASCII=8) state=0 in /data/web/1/000/080/470/331475/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/dante/includes/sf-theme-functions.php on line 135I know – it is another topic – should i open another thread?
Hi all. It is really confusing because there are different strategies to set a header backgroud image and they behave different on different devices.
– It seems that a fancy heading background image is not ment to be a background which is fixed in it’s position. If used Like in the Dante Demo: http://dante.swiftideas.net/pages/about/ , it doesn’t matter if the image moves out somewhere.
– If I set the background in Theme Options/Asset Backgrounds then I get the most stable situation but the image still jumps to a different position if check the page with a smaller browser size or on an ipad.
So at the moment there seems to be no reliable setup for a background image in a fix position on every device … See attached files.@Tahir: Thx for your hints. This is very helpfull. But for this issues resizing the images was unfortunately not helpfull…
Is there another solution?
