youtube social links no longer work

Is there anyway to change the social profile links for youtube to channel/ instead of user/ because youtube seem to have changed that recently for new accounts and I cannot get it to go through.

Guess you can place in the social profiles options whatever link you desire.
Just place there your Youtube channel url.

trouble is I cannot do that because it places a url before. Thats why I want to change it.

Hi,

You are right.

You have to find this line in the file shortcodes.php located in “Flexform/includes/”

$social_icons .= '<li class="youtube"><a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/'.$youtube.'" target="_blank">YouTube</a></li>'."\n";

and replace by

$social_icons .= '<li class="youtube"><a href="http://www.youtube.com/'.$youtube.'" target="_blank">YouTube</a></li>'."\n";

This way the link won’t have the “/user”
