    Hi There

Could you let me know how it would be possible to add, the add to Wishlist button into a widget area of my site?

    I have tried this shortcode – [yith_wcwl_add_to_wishlist product_id=”337″]

    And have added this to my theme’s functions – add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’);

    Still no joy?

    Hi,

Does that shortcode works fine inside a blank page?

    Hi Kyle

A little more information would be useful? Why would it not be possible?

Yith wishlist uses the shortcode and the theme supports shortcodes, all others work why not this one?

    Surely theres a solution?

Can you confirm.. You’re asking to have an ‘add to wishlist’ button in your sidebar? There would be no reference to the product. We have added the functionality to the product page php files itself. Not really sure what you’re trying to achieve

    Hi Kyle

Thats correct – using this shortcode [yith_wcwl_add_to_wishlist] with the following attributes ‘product_id’: (int) the ID of the product to add to the wishlist with the button.

As described on the Yith plug in page here – http://yithemes.com/docs-plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist/02-shortcode.html

Thats what I would like to do, Neighbourhood doesn’t seem to recognise the shortcode though?

    Hi,
Please try to use this code at product description and let me know your feedback. Why are not adding attribute to this shortcode according documentation http://yithemes.com/docs-plugins/yith-woocommerce-wishlist/02-shortcode.html ?
    Thanks
    Mohammad

Oh dear guys, this ones getting painful.

I don’t want the star button to appear next in the product page – my site is set up a little differently. .

I want to use wishlist in a normal page, with a button and using this shortcode [yith_wcwl_add_to_wishlist] with the following attributes ‘product_id’: (int) the ID of the product to add to the wishlist with the button.

This should work on ANY page but it doesn’t?!

Have you tested this with the default theme?
