WPML MENU LOCATION CART FRENCH

Greetings,
All the translations are perfect with the WPML http://www.discountdesignerclothing.ca (eng) and french http://discountdesignerclothing.ca/?lang=fr

The problem I have is with the french side of things in the header menu (see enclosed jpeg)

How can I make the cart icon link to the french (when browing the french version of site)

and not to the http://discountdesignerclothing.ca/cart/ english version.

Same thing for my account and search. (But most importantly the cart)

Hi there,

Have you duplicated the cart page, i.e. translated the original cart page for french? The only reason this can be is that you don’t have the translated page set somewhere.

Of course I did I even mentioned it in the threat

The duplicate of cart (http://discountdesignerclothing.ca/cart/)
is located here panier d’achats (http://discountdesignerclothing.ca/cart/?lang=fr)

the problem is that when navigating in french if we click the cart icon in the menu see enclosed jpg, it send to the english cart insteat of the freanch panier d’achats

@pmelagence – You haven’t set up the store languages/currencies, this is why it’s not linking through. Please go to WooCommerce > Settings – https://www.dropbox.com/s/7upop02wrebatrg/Screenshot%202013-12-06%2015.16.28.png

Yes currencies were set just as your png shows (look at my two printscreen enclosed)
And when clicking on the cart still links to the english cart try it yourself from here

http://discountdesignerclothing.ca/cart/?lang=fr
click on the cart icon in the menu (it will bring you to the english cart instead of french one)

There is no language options in the woocommerce-seetings print screen you sent me.
Only currencies and they are both set up (see one with french flag and the other with english flag)

Could you be a little more detailed when you answer .. thank you in advance I really nee dto resolve this for my client.

Hi Mathieu,

Unfortunately, I’m not sure that is possible with WooCommerce. As far as I’m aware the language needs to match the currency.

This isn’t a theme issue plugin, and if there is a way to do this it’s something that would be in the WooCommerce settings or probably an extra plugin. Probably best to ask here – http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce
