WP update breaks WooCommerce in Flexform

Hi there,

Has this happened to anyone else?

Upon the WordPress 3.8.2 auto-update, my Flexform website broke. By process of deduction, I found that the WooCommerce plugin (that came with Flexform) breaks the site when activated. By deactivating WooCommerce, the site is restored.

When Woo is activated, here’s what happens to my website:
• toggles don’t work and info inside toggles becomes mis-aligned
• % bars don’t work
• drop down menus in main nav bar disappear
• posts don’t aggregate on homepage

I have contacted Woo about this and, after some tooling around, they said their plugin is okay, and rather it is a theme problem. Flexform: can you pls investigate this? I am building my website now and will be needing WooCommerce to function.

The latest version of WooCommerce plugin is activated. You can see on the home page that many elements are broken, per my note above.
The “Change the World” link in the main nav is supposed to have a drop down menu

New problem: the phone/pencil/lightening bolt/eye icons are supposed to have circles around them, which are gone now.

Hi Mohammad,

I am using Version 1.5.3. If I try to update to 1.6, I get a dialog box that says I will lose all customizations. Not about to do that! 😉

Please go to Admin -> Appearance -> Menus -> Here you can set menus
• posts don’t aggregate on homepage
Working perfect now

I just updated to Woo 2.1.7 and the new problem emerged (circles missing from icons).

I was using the previous version which resulted in the other four problems:
• toggles
• % bars
• posts not aggregating
• drop down menus missing

Have you seen how the website breaks?

Let me know, as I would like to deactive Woo so I can keep working. We can continue to troubleshoot in the meantime.

As far as I know nothing in the update should break Flexform – it’s working perfect here.

This thread is assigned to me so that I can check quickly, can you check that all plugins are up to date and activate WooCommerce for me to see what causes the issue?

Hi Ed,
All plugins are up to date and WooCommerce is activated. Please see the following problems on my site when WooCommerce is activated (this happens ONLY when WC is activated):

On home page (www.shiftdialog.com/test):
• drop down menu disappears from main nav (should be under “Change the World” link)
• design elements not working:
– % bars (see home page bottom, right side, under “interesting stats”)
– circles around phone/pencil/bolt/eye icons (just under the slider)
• posts don’t aggregate (home page bottom, left side)
• toggles break (home page bottom, middle)
