WP ignore language files

I tried to translate the theme into Croatian language but when I copied files WP don’t show translation.

File location:
/wp-content/themes/flexform/language/

I tried with hr_HR.mo and hr.mo

I followed all the instructions, but it still does not display translation in Administration

Or did it all wrong and translations is only for the user interface (public), and not for administration part of WP.

Can you check inside the .po files you are changing if you find a text like the below:

New Team Member

If so you are editing the right file.

All translation is included in hr_HR.zip (po and mo) file from previous post.
As a base for the translation I used en_US.po

I guess part of the administration interface is not translatable as the user part of the theme translated as expected.

Exactly that part has been translated, but the menu and other parts of the themes are not.
At first I thought WP ignores translation, but now seems that the original on file does not contain all the fields that can be translated.

Can you send me default.po instead en_US.po?

There is no default.po only the files that are inside the language directory.
If is not inside the translation files can also be translated with WPML string translation or in last resource directly in the theme files.
