I am having real trouble with inventory management and ordering.

My setup is using paypal standard to process payments.

When a sale is made, the correct payment processes through Paypal, but I am getting an error:
Validation error: PayPal amounts do not match (gross xx.xx). Order status changed from Pending Payment to On Hold.

and the inventory is not updated!

This is causing real problems. I ship products so the customer receives the order, but inventory is not being updated! HELP.
