the ‘my account’ section for the WooCommerce isn’t working. When I installed it, it created pages… my account, store and cart. store and cart work, but my account isn’t displaying anything. Please help. thank you.

April 8, 2015 at 1:54 pm #163777Prob because its suppose to be a ‘secure’ page with sensitive customer login information?
This page was automatically generated when i installed the theme. the site is now live if you wanna browse through
April 8, 2015 at 1:57 pm #163779So the wp theme dante has a section called ‘my account’ in the top nav bar… which leads to no-where…
I just created a page called ‘account’ and have it in the reg nav bar and it works fine.
so the prob isnt woocommerce… the problem is that the top nav isnt linking to the proper page.
any idea how we can fix that?

It seems to be related to the https settings.
You should use this plugin when using https

April 8, 2015 at 2:20 pm #163788downloaded, uploaded, installed… now what? still doesn’t seem to work.
There has to be a way to configure the top nav
April 8, 2015 at 2:40 pm #163793can you check in the logs of your server if there is any error logged?
Also what is your htaccess content?Your site is not working has expected for instance when you type and url that doesn’t exist(https://ottawavalleyirepair.com/my-accounttesting) it should show you the 404 page and that’s not what’s happening. It seens that the requests of the pages are being denied.
You should also contact your hosting support to help figure this out.

April 8, 2015 at 2:44 pm #163797I’ve already contacted the hosting provider and they said “ur site works fine.”
what is the htaccess content? where do i find that?
April 8, 2015 at 2:45 pm #163798http://ottawavalleyirepair.com/my-accounttesting
without the ‘s’ that links me to a 404 page.
April 10, 2015 at 2:59 pm #164332Alright this is still not resolved. My hosting provider responded and this is what he said….
“Hello Christian,
I have accessed the link http://ottawavalleyirepair.com/my-account/ and its not being redirected to https://ottawavalleyirepair.com/my-account/, please clear the browser cache and re-check.
After browsing http://ottawavalleyirepair.com/my-account/, we get ‘page not found’ error message since there is no folder named my-account under the /ottawavalleyirepair.com folder and this doesn’t seem to be a permalink issue either as other internal links on website works.
Kind Regards
David, Support
Servage Hosting”With that said…
Should I reinstall the woocommmerce plugin and hope that it properly creates the ‘my-account’ folder??I cant launch this site without that issue being resolved.
April 14, 2015 at 6:16 pm #165137Hi,
I would recommended to increase Php memory limit. Methods for increasing the amount of memory a PHP script may consume1. If you have access to your install and are running a version of WordPress earlier than 3.0, try the plugin
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/memory-bump/ as this is the easiest way to increase your RAM for WordPress.2. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
If your line shows 32M try 64M. If your line shows 64M try 128M
memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (32MB)3. If you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 64M4. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
Increasing memory allocated to PHP
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);5. Talk to your host.
Thanks
