WooCommerce image size

What are my options at changing the size of the WooCommerce images at the three different states (catalog, single and thumbnails)? I mean, you say in the documentation that I should set it at:
540*720 – 540/720=0,75 ratio
540*720 – 540/720=0,75 ratio
120*178 – 120/178=0,67 ratio

I thinks it is a little annoying that the ratio between width and height are not the same at thumbnails and catalog/single. That means the pictures are cutted different.

I find it also weird that the ratio is not the same at the single product page as you can see at the single.png attachment.

You can set what ever image sizes you like, the images will need to be big enough to fill the containers they are in.

But is following understood correctly?

The settings in WooCommerce–>Porducts only affect the physical size of the images on the server and the settings in WooCommerce–>Products is not respected by the CSS made in the theme. So if I want a different size of the image at fx. single product at front end I need to change it in the CSS?

I just want to have all the images in the same ratio fx 0,75. What do I have to do to achieve that?

Change the image sizes to in WooCommerce settings to match your ratio.

I have now changed all ratios to 0,75 as here: http://i.gyazo.com/c3969002d63f9b198e7d8e3df2bbce9f.png AND regenerated all thumbnails.

But it doesn’t work at front end as you can see at http://www.nagcollection.dk – fx. the product mini shortcode generate square thumbnails: http://i.gyazo.com/087088d4120f731e62b9bb1a324cd70d_1.png

The product mini asset only support square thumbnails. You would have to edit the php files if you want to change it.
