I am using Woocommerce 2.4.10 and have a list of all my product categories on the front page. Clicking on a category redirects to a product category page. I’d like this page to have a price filter (among other things), but Woocommerce’s standard price filter doesn’t show up on this page (only on /shop).

How can I redirect people that choose a category on the front page to a page where they can filter through the category they have chosen?

    PS:
    Something like: http://flatsome.uxthemes.com/
Clicking on men/women in the header redirects to a product category page with a filter.
I’d like the same with a list of categories instead of buttons in the header.

    Hi

You need to add the price filter as a widget in Appearance > Widgets to your woocommerce sidebar

Yes, I already added the widget and used ‘sidebar one’ as a container for the Price Filter, but using Woocommerce sidebar as a container does not work either. The Woocommerce Product Category widget did and does work however. Hope you could swing by my admin page to take a look, would be very appreciated.

Not sure if it is a Dante issue, but it just seems so odd. Also, dante is using old Woocommerce templates( dante/woocommerce/single-product/price.php version 1.6.4 . Core version is 2.4.9), so who knows.

    Hi Kyle,

Was a developer able to recreate my problem and has he looked into updating the template as a solution?
What would be wise for me to do, should I regress woocommerce to an older version, wait until the fix, or is it relatively easy to do the fix myself?

The issue has resolved itself ( I regressed to an older version of Woocommerce, updated back again and imported the demo content and somehow it started working!?). I still have a minor issue on this page: http://hinkle.nl/product-categorie/jackets/
As you can see, the plugin I use (WOOF products filter) is shown twice. I know this is not a plugin you support but is it possible Dante has something to do with it?

    Thanks for your help.

No that’s nothing to do with the theme, looks like the plugin adds it to the page itself and you’ve added it manually to the sidebar also?

Yes added manually in sidebar with a widget. You are right. It has nothing to do with the theme. It was a bug in the plugin when certain options were checked.
    Everything works now. Thank you.
