    Hi,

Under Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > emails you can find this instruction near the bottom of each email setting section:

To override and edit this email template copy woocommerce/templates/emails/customer-completed-order.php to your theme folder: yourtheme/woocommerce/emails/customer-completed-order.php.

I then clicked on the “Copy file to theme” button next to above instruction (please see attached screenshot), but when I checked my theme folder, there is no “emails” folder under dante/woocommerce.

My questions are: should I proceed to manually create an “emails” folder under Dante/woocommerce folder and copy the templates there, or should I just edit directly under plugin directories: woocommerce/templates/emails (but then the templates will be overrided after updates)?

    Hi,

Editing directly in the plugin is not advised. Add it to the theme Woocommerce folder.
If you are using a child theme you must place it inside the child theme.
