Hi,
I’m having problems with my Woocommerce solution running WordPress with Neighborhood theme. There are several issues after updating to latest woocommerce version.
– cart and checkout isn’t working
– related products hover was wrong – I’ve fixed this with CSS, but it showed both normal state and hover state
– saving a product, adding a user, updating permalinks – to mention some – all goes to blank screen without loading the backend again.
– WPML translation are missing even if they are translated and was working earlier, example is the cart, where it says “update shopping cart”
– I have also tried to update to latest 4.0 version of WordPress, after updating all plugins, but them whole backend disappered, and I had to use my backup.I’m not sure where to start to figure out all this issues. My deadline is within two-three weeks for this entire webshop. So I’m getting desperate to get it right as I still have a lot of other things to fix before I can launch.
Are these common issues after updating and do you have any clues or solutions to help me getting it back on track?
Regards,
Roger HenriksenSeptember 22, 2014 at 11:35 am #113272Hi,
It seems to be all white. Can you deactivate Woocommerce?
If you can’t get in the admin, just rename the plugins directory so all the plugins will be inactive.-Rui
September 22, 2014 at 1:10 pm #113300Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
If I deactivare Woocommerce/all plugins, the site runs, but of course all functionality is missing.I still get the white screen when updating for example my user info etc backend. I’m not sure what’s this is causes by. Maybe there’s something wrong with WP core files?

September 22, 2014 at 4:18 pm #113386It can also be a problem of memory, not sure what are you memory settings inside the wp-config.php
Try to increase it.http://docs.woothemes.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

September 23, 2014 at 7:34 am #113571Hi,
It seems that some problems was solved bye removing an empty line after end tag ?> in the child theme functions.php.
I still have problems with adding products to cart. It only works in Firefox. And I’ve tested it in Chrome and Safari as well. In Chrome/Safari I can’t add products from webshop (product overview) at all. If I’m on product level I can click add to cart, and for some seconds it appears in cart. But after 1-2 seconds the cart is cleared/empty again. I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins except Woocommerce, but went white screen again. So I first need to restore my latest settings. Hopefully this will be fixed today.
Have you heard about something similar before?

Tried to login in the provided url but the page doesn’t display.
We will check if any error is displayed in the Javascript console when using Chrome and Safari. If you have any cache plugin please purge the cache or disable it for a while.

You may try again to log in. I had to reset database. It should work fine now.

September 23, 2014 at 5:29 pm #113843Some more info:
I’ve been reading your thread about add to cart problems:
http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/urgent-adding-items-in-cart-not-working/page/2/Have tested further and when I removed WP Menu Cart plugin and I was able to add to cart in Chrome (mac). I still have problems in Safari and all PC browsers (tested in Browserstack). I have also tried to deactivate all plugins, without results.

September 24, 2014 at 7:32 am #113961I have problem that perhaps is related to the other.
Example.
I try to add a new menu item to the menu called butikkmeny. I add “Informasjon til forhandler”. It’s placed in the menu – and I’m able to move it around in the menu structure – but when I try to save the menu, the page doesn’t load again (white/blank) and if I reload or go back (or load http://cheyerdahl.no/wp/wp-admin/nav-menus.php manually) the change in the menu is gone.Similar things happens in other WP core features. Can this be related, maybe I have some cache/memory issues?
September 24, 2014 at 9:25 am #114002Hi,
Try to disable again all plugins except Woocommerce. Also activate the parent theme and try with that configuration.
Did you increase the WordPress memory? What is the current setting?

September 24, 2014 at 10:14 am #114015Hi,
I have tried to use standard theme and I still have this problem. When I activate Neighborhood child theme again, I get a message telling that I have Woocommerce outdated files in the parent theme folder. If I delete all these files the product view is wrong and I cant see the add to cart button, related products has wrong width etc. I’m not sure how Woocommerce handles og places the files now. Where is the Woocommerce folder supposed to be located now?
When it comes to deactivating plugins, I run into a blank screen when deactivating the WPML plugins. I’m not sure which, but I have to export database again to restore the site. I have 256M memory limit specified in the wp-config.php file.

September 24, 2014 at 10:57 am #114039Because of the Woocommerce modifications, some files that are not necessary anymore.
What files did you changed?-Rui
September 24, 2014 at 6:43 pm #114187I have changed
– content-product.php
– /cart/cart.php
– /cart/shipping-calculator.phpThese are located in a folder in child theme.

Have you updated to v1.93 via auto-update?
