Woccommerce 2.1 / Theme 1.6 – Compatibility Issues

The Latest Update (1.6) doesn’t work properly with WC 2.1.

A lots of issues over there:

– related products carousel is broken, so i suppose the shortcode as well.
– single page product: thumbnails product images carousel doesn’t work properly
– quantity buttons quantity input shows woocommerce default selectors.
– shopping bag page: coupon and shipping cal divs doesn’t fit properly.
– check out page: woocommerce-info and chekcout_coupon styles are missing.
– check out page: “ship to a different address” option doesn’t work and doesn’t show up.

At the moment i’m wondering if you, (Ed) as a professional developer, make any sort of debug process before any important theme update. It’s not the first time that a new update keep some annoying bugs.

This is an e-commerce theme, a theme made for business purpose and to sell online. With this arduous updating process you are making losing money to us, your customers, yep the same ones which are allowing you to earn money.

I’m really disappointed, as many others customers over here i suppose.

I have the same problems with my update, and also.. an error with the sidebar in the shop page.

Same here.

Suddenly,Missing prices in Single product page aswell.
Suddenly,Mainpage with the yotpo star-ratings is messing up my frontpage aswell
Suddenly,Missing woocommerce sidebar in catagoriepage.
Hover over on picture doesnt work anymore.(Product Overlay Transition)
Add to cart button is set 2 default. ( woocommerce defaut style).

just a couple of mishaps mentioned here,happening after updating.
the list goes on and on

Apologies for these issues. A lot of code was changed in the WooCommerce 2.1 update.

Working on an update to resolve these issues now, it will be with you in a few hours tops.

Hi Ed!

Know you have already spoken into this, we are experiencing the same thing , for now we renamed the woocommerce folder in the updated theme, its not as pretty as yours, but it functions for now, also not sure its related (we think so) the one page checkout option in the Admin area of the theme also has disappeared (to switch on and off) is this intentional?

Hi Ryan,

Yes that was intentional, we updated to a single solution in v1.5 (I think).

We released v1.65 last night which fixed the remaining issues, please update to that 🙂
