I have placed a text widget into a sidebar and want to include a website but can’t see where to link the site.

    Hi there,

You would simply add the following html:

    <a href="http://www.webite.com">Link Text</a>

I inserted the text above (with my url) and it comes out “Link Text” on the page.

That should definitely work, make sure you’re not removing any quotes or anything else; just change the URL.

I just tried it again and it still shows as “link text”
As a reminder…this is in a text widget. Will that make a difference?

Are you aware that you need to actually change the phrase “Link Text” to a phrase of your liking?

    All the best
