Hi,
in widgets recent-posts.php, the function:
get_post_thumbnail_id()
does not return the thumbnail image and thus only the default is shown as the later code shows.I suspect that this is a scope problem and that get_post_thumbnail_id() is simply not reached from within widgets/.

October 19, 2015 at 5:12 pm #221682Hi,
I’m not understanding exactly the issue.
This is what I’m seeing in one of the recent posts widget.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gs7pa1tv85k1hn9/Screenshot%202015-10-19%2017.11.17.png?dl=0Can you provide a specific example?
Thanks-Rui
October 19, 2015 at 5:29 pm #221694Well that is not from a widget, but from some other parts of the code.
I am referring specifically to the code here..
dante/swift-framework/widgets/widget-posts.phpIt is activated by going to the widget section for example adding a ‘recent posts’ widget in a sidebar through..
wp-admin/widgets.php/Hans
October 19, 2015 at 6:06 pm #221705will need a test page where I can see the error situation to understand it. The image doesn’t appear? Is incorrect?

October 19, 2015 at 10:20 pm #221742On the right sidebar the widget shows the default images
http://schillerinstitut.dk/si/category/alle-kategorier/strategi/ny-renaessance/From the widget-posts.php:
$thumb_image = get_post_thumbnail_id();
$thumb_img_url = wp_get_attachment_url( $thumb_image, ‘widget-image’ );
$image = sf_aq_resize( $thumb_img_url, 94, 75, true, false);
if $thumb_image is nul i think, the next two lines set $image to be the default image.October 20, 2015 at 1:32 pm #221908Hi,
I cannot replicate this issue on my dev version, which could indicate a plugin conflict.
Please add a WP login for us to investigate further.

October 20, 2015 at 8:24 pm #222034Hi,
it is displayed under the content aware sidebars plugin.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/
Could this be the cause?How should i give a WP login? I can’t write it here for obvious reasons, and what priviledges would be needed?

October 21, 2015 at 10:19 am #222124In that case you should test it first with all plugins deactivated so we can determine if it’s a plugin conflict or not.
Let us know the result.After that if doesn’t work you send us the credentials using the private reply option.

November 9, 2015 at 11:49 pm #227270I’m having this same issue. Any solutions?
November 10, 2015 at 12:27 pm #227409Hi @aavanian,
Can you describe it further.
Provide a link and try to disable all plugins to discard any plugin conflict.-Rui
November 12, 2015 at 3:56 pm #228272I have made a very basic testsite with the version (3.16) of Dante we are running as theme (I hope this is okay).
No plugins are installed and the ‘sf recent posts’ widget shows blank images!See my test at:

You just needed to set the featured image of the posts like this.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/19dyirb496cq3m9/Screenshot%202015-11-12%2015.26.11.png?dl=0This is how it looks now.

November 12, 2015 at 4:36 pm #228292I see! That field (featured image) had eluded me entirely, as we use the thumbnail image field!
Thank you!
