    I have setup my website so that users cannot trackback any blog posts of mine but for some reason I still get notifications that blog posts are being trackbacked from spammers!! How can I stop this?

    Have you selected the option not to trackback your blog posts?

    Hey,

    On your post or page, you will need to uncheck this option:

    Discussion => Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.

    I have included a screenshot from your post admin area for reference.

    So I need to go through every single post and page to uncheck that box? Is there not a quicker way?

    Go to your posts page and click in screen options, change the number of posts to 100 so you only have to do this twice.

    then select them all in the bulk checkbox and choose edit from the bulk option.
    Change the pings option and it’s done.
