white screen after going from 5.2 to 5.4 php

Currently I have Dante installed, and am running version 5.2 php. All is well. At the behest of my host I moved to 5.4. After doing so, I just get a white screen, both theme front and admin. I revert back to 5.2 and all is well again. Is there something I need to do to make it work correctly with 5.4?

Hi there,

You’d need to enable WP_Debug to check what error message shows on the white screen. My guess would be that you need to increase your php memory.

Let us know if you can check the error, although we run 5.4 here with no issues.

As I see Woocommerce settings, it suggests us to use PHP 5.4. 5.3.3 - Raccomandiamo di usare la versione 5.4 o successiva di PHP
Well, just a hint: if I set a different php version on my plesk config, website disappears.
Is there a why?
It happens the same with another website and Atelier installed.

Do you have WordPress updated to the last version?
I’m not seeing anything in the theme that could cause that.

You should try to changing the php version using the Twenty 15 theme, and also using Atelier only with Woocommerce to discard any plugin conflict.
