    Hi,

On the Neighborhood demo site there is an ‘Order tracking’ page. I’ve managed to add the shortcode to my page to show the tracking options, but can’t work out where to add the tracking code in the customer’s order.

Does your example just show what is possible or is the order tracking feature actually available within the theme?

    Please advise.

    Hi,

I do not understand this: “can’t work out where to add the tracking code in the customer’s order”.

Can you elaborate or provide an annotated screenshot to help describe the issue?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

That functionality only works in specific settings.
    Check this documentation.

Ok, so the order tracking is not actually part of the theme, it’s a separate plugin I have to buy? I’m confused, as the ‘Order tracking’ page on your demo site implies that it is included in the theme.

This is not part of the theme, the Order Tracking you refer to is default WooCommerce functionality and this simply lets a user see the status of an order by entering their order details.

Sorry to appear stupid, but I don’t have any order tracking options in default Woocommerce – the only way seems to be to purchase their plugin or a 3rd party plugin. Am I missing something?

    Thanks

You need to first create the page, using one of their many shortcodes: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/.

The Track Order shortcode is here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/#section-4

    [woocommerce_order_tracking]

As per my initial post, I’ve already created the page showing the ‘Track Order’ form. What I don’t know is where I enter the tracking code once I’ve received it from the courier. When I go into an order to mark it as shipped and to send the customer email, there is no option to enter the tracking code.

That is a WooCommerce question, nothing in the theme handles that. As per Rui’s post, you will need the Shipment Tracking plugin, this is totally different to the Tracking done by the order status shortcode above.
