    When i’m going to start upgrade i have an alert like that,

    Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.

    Then now, i have an bigger problem :

    Hi

    Did you try navigate away from the page whilst the update was processing?

    Check that you have GD Image Library enabled on your server

    I have the same problem, GD Image Library is installed and enabled.

    A quick fix is to install the last version manually. Worked for me.
