Welcome shortcode? & Logo re-size / replace on scroll

Hey!

1. Is it possible to put the ‘tb-welcome’ available in the “Top Bar Config” into the ‘Header left text config’ somehow?

It would be great to not display the top bar but have a “Welcome <logged in user first name>” displayed somewhere.

2. Is it possible to on scroll change the logo to a smaller version and still display it in sticky header/menu? I’m using the header type 1 right now.

1) Unfortuantly this is not possible without extensive theme modification.

2) Have you added the setting for “Theme Options => Header Options => Logo Resized Width”?

1. ok, is it possible to display the top bar with ONLY the welcome text? I’m only seeing welcome & super search etc.

2. I hadn’t no, but I’ve added, refreshed cache and it’s still not vibing… any ideas? (i set it to half the regular size).

I would really need to be able to change the logo for the sticky header also, as the logo with text would just look terrible that small. Is that possible?

1) We should able to help you hide that with CSS, can you add your welcome text?

2) This will only work with certain headers, to see the logo re-size please test this with Header 5 for example.

3) This is not currently possible with Dante, I’ll pass this back to the team for feedback though.

hey,

I think I totally underestimated how good the personal shopper is… so I’ll just keep that running as standard.

I would still really like to avoid the header taking up more space than is necessary though. It would be great to have the welcome | personal shopper in line with sign out | my account for example.

Is there really no way to achieve this?

You can reduce the font size and padding:

#header-search {
    padding-top: 20px;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
}
#super-search .search-options {
    font-size: 18px;
}

Cheers for coming back to me, that doesn’t seem to have done anything though?

I’m looking to have the welcome | personal shopper text on the same horizontal plane as the sign in | account | language switcher. (see attached)

Is this possible with some creative CSS ?

Hi Mike,

Unfortunalty that is not possible, you would need a developer to make that change as it is not something that can be done with just CSS.
