Website rendering terribly slow!

Hello,

Our site is rendering very slowly – at times it hangs for several minutes before finally loading. On a mobile device, it is even worse, sometimes freezing and not loading completely. To see what might be wrong, I went to a website to test it: http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=www.soakshore.com

I’ve attached a screen shot in case you can’t view the page. I was surprised to see so many issues found and would like your thoughts on how to resolve this issue. The biggest issue seems to be related to this suggestion: Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content.

I’ve tested the site on several computers and mobile devices and all have difficulty rending the site. Please advise as we want to go live later this week.

I’d recommend checking out the Autoptimize plugin – this can help reduce scripts above the fold, and improve speed.
