Website don't work on Internet Explorer 8 (Windows XP)

I’ve check my website on MAC, Windows 7 and 8, and it works fine in different browsers (Internet explorer 9, mozilla, chrome, safari…).

But it doesn’t work in Internet explorer 8 on Windows XP. The main page sometimes don’t load and sometimes load without the slider (and the main page is frozen).

Hi,

The reason for that might be the old browser and ancient OS combination. I’ve checked your site for errors and everything is in order, so this is not something related to the theme itself. It could be some IE settings (like maybe being used in compatibility mode), or just the fact that IE8 was actually the initial browser for Win7 (it was ported to XP just so that XP users get a slight upgrade).

Not much we can do in this case – it works fine in Win7 with IE8 for example, so my guess is that’s it’s either in compatibility mode or there’s some bad settings in IE8 in your case.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

If i deactivate plugin W3 total cache, the web can be viewed reasonably well on IE8 in XP, but i can’t use that great plugin. I’ll see if there is another similar plugin that don’t cause problem
