Is there a guide to what you can and cannot set Visibility on in the theme?

And..

We use a Column design. If you cannot set the Visibility say of an image in that column is it OK to create a second “mobile only” column as the solution (so have the page content twice one slightly different for mobile users), or would this really affect load times of the page?

Hi,

The visibility options are available in Columns and Rows so in that case you just need to place your image inside a column.

Arrange your content using Rows and columns to be able to hide/show certain pages of the content according to the resolution.
