Hi,
I have a small but very important cart issue. My customers used to see a “Product is added to cart, view cart” notification once they added a product to the shopping bag. That message would show on the product page, which was good.
I received many calls from my customers that are stuck in the checkout process and I figured out it is because that cart notification, which should show on the product page, shows now only when you open the cart itself. I need it to show on the product page after a product is added.
Please see screenshots for clarification.
I recently updated all my plugins and also the dante theme, not sure but it might have something do with this.
If you want to see the issue live on my site you can use “1072” as a zipcode and select a freshfolds bag from the laundry service. Thanks!

You mean that message keep on stay on the same place even after you are viewing Cart page??
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.September 29, 2014 at 8:56 am #115337No the problem is that the message does not appear at all untill you click on the cart page and there it will pop up. (it should show on the product page, after adding a product to the cart).
In the backend it shows a message that my theme has outdates copies of woocommerce templates (see screenshot) and that it can cause problems in the frontend. It might have something to do with this. What is the best way to fix this error?
Thank you!

Did you update the theme to the latest version, because we update the theme to compatible with the latest of woo. So in case you update it, update it again to make sure the update process is complete. If the problem still persists after update let us know.
Thanks,
laranz.September 30, 2014 at 7:36 pm #116075yes I have the latest version (2.66) installed and it still exists. The outdated woocommerce tempalte error I only received after my last update btw.

October 5, 2014 at 7:53 pm #117328Hi Kyle,
I discovered thats since I updated my theme and plugins I have multiple woocommerce issues.
As you know I have the issue mentioned above. But I discovered there are many more issues (see below). On my dashboard it shows the message that I included as a screenshot above which I think may have something to do with it. Could you please have a look at my site and let me know where these issues are coming from?
Thank you!
-sometimes when a product is added to the cart and the cart is opened it shows an empty cart.
-Sometimes on the billing page in stead of showing the product summary it shows an empty section with just “-1”
-I just placed a test order where every field was filled in correctly and it came through on the orders page but after the purchase I was redirected to the checkout page where it said all the field are required and need to be filled in
-Eventhough I have my settings set for users being able to register for an account on the checkout page, the checkout page sometimes states that users need to be logged in to purchase an item anyways. When I check my settings they jumped back and I have to do it again.October 5, 2014 at 8:21 pm #117331Just after I typed my mail, i wanted to place another test order and now it states that there are no shipping methods available ( I only have one shipping method: pickup and delivery). see screen..
It seems my whole checkout process has become unusable as there are so many issues with it. Hopefully you can help me out, because at the moment it is impossible for my customers to place an orderAttachments:

I’m afraid these issues are not theme issues, especially when you say they only happen ‘sometimes’. You might want to take that up with WooCommerce

October 7, 2014 at 3:23 pm #118159Hi Kyle,
Alright I will contact them directly. But could you please let me know what I need to do to get rid of the warning I get now see screen.
This warning does seem to be a theme issue. Translated it means:
“Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files”Thanks
Ps. could you maybe provide me with a link where I can best contact woocommerceAttachments:
