    Hello,
    I have a problem with “video player” (SPB). When I insert the link in “Video Link”, it works fine but when I want to edit it, it disappears in the “Video Link” field

    Here is how I do it:

    1) I collect the link in Youtube, eg
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rgvzdUbsBfc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    2) To respect the codex, I replace the tags “<iframe>” with “[embed]“, eg:
    [embed width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rgvzdUbsBfc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen] [/ embed]

    3) I paste the link in “video player”

    The video works fine but if I want to edit the link, I open “video player” but my connection is gone, it is not saved

    The only link you need to copy is https://www.youtube.com/embed/rgvzdUbsBfc

    If I use this type of link, the video does not work: black screen with error message

    I tested with other videos

    The issue was you were using the embed link, you just need to use the normal link from this page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPdduGLsG-Y

    We have it set to not show controls in the code – this was for the thumbnail display. I’ll get this changed for the next update.

    OK, thanks for your reply.

    For the next update, maybe you can add other options :
    – deleting related videos
    – show/hide controls
    – Autoplay

    And it would be able to load an imported video to all parts of the page (or post). It is not possible today
