Video not displaying mobile

Hello,
I am having trouble getting a background video working on my site in mobile. I created a page using the spb and added a parallax element, I then scrolled to the Background Video (WebM) section and input the URL of my video in webm format. It works perfectly on desktop with no problems across all browsers.

However, when I load up the same page on a mobile device it doesn’t show the video. I see nothing. I tried viewing in the following:

– iphone 6 IOS version 9.1 running safari
– Samasung Core LTE Android version 5.1.1 running chrome version 47.0.2526.76

Both devices do not render the video, do you have any suggestions as to how I might resolve this? Or what might be causing it? I understand that webM for iphone can be troublesome, but I expected it would run fine on an Android device?

Hi Jack,

Unfortunately background video isn’t supported on mobile browsers (this is a device limitation – not the theme). In this instance, we fallback to an image which you can provide and will be shown where it’s not possible to play the video.
