I have gone through all the settings and my site *should* have a vertical menu, but it is not working. I’m not sure what else to add here, I’ve set the menu settings, I’ve set the header settings, I have spent hours searching the forums for an answer and am at a loss. I need this fixed as soon as possible. I’ve attached photos of what the menu bar is displaying as, and what my settings are set to. In theme options>Header Options, top bar is OFF, and I have chosen header #10 (left side). See attached pics. Under appearance>menus, the menu I want to use is set for main menu, overlay menu, mobile menu, footer menu theme locations. I’ve tried every possible combination I can think of. I want a black sidebar menu that stays put on the left side of the page.

    Please help.

Your menu on the left side is working for me? http://www.workshop4200.com/shop/

    Have you resolved this?

    Thanks.

I finally figured out that it wasn’t working due to the “Page Header Type” being set to “Naked”, this is in the “Meta Options” area that appears at the bottom of a page you are editing. Thought I would put that out there for anyone else struggling with this issue. You just have to go to each page on your site, click edit, scroll down to meta options, click “Page Header Slider” from the tabs on the left, and then the first item is “Page Header Type” which needs to be set to “Standard” for the menu to display vertically (assuming you have it set to a vertical menu under theme options).

I also had trouble with some dummy text contact info for swift appearing over my menu bar – which I had to remove under theme options>header options>header left text config (click on text/shortcode & a bar will appear beneath with dummy text that you should delete), I then repeated this process with the header right config text/shortcode text.
