Using IE8 / XP -Site doesn't load properly

Please could you help.

The site we are developing using the Flexform template does not load properly in IE8 and when it does it is incomplete and painfully clunky. Unfortunately many of our partner agencies still use Windows XP so it really has to be fully compatible.

I have noticed the Awsomefont icons do not load neither does http://flexform.swiftideas.net/shortcodes/icons-links-with-icons/ in IE8. Could it be this causing the issue?

Also on sub pages the side menu puts its self below the main body text (although on full size screen so doesn’t need to be responsive).

This is the first time I have developed a site so don’t have the knowledge to interrogate the code. The site works fine on Firefox, Chrome and ios.

We’ve got someone looking into this issue for us, and we are hoping to have a fix in the next update.

I have the same problem as Matt described above.
FF, Safari, iOS, Chrome, IE9+….. all’swell… only IE8 doesnt load our site properly.
I also have quite afew user feedbacks concerning this issue.

Hi Laranz,

sounds nice…. for now I have installed Browser Blocker PlugIn to intercept IE8 and lower. Have to recode the PlugIn though, as it shows a rather crappy splash page. Nowhere near the nice Flexform style ;(
