Some paths are http://www.site.com/something-2/something.
But I only have one page/directory saved as “something”. Still, the theme is generating paths “/something-2”. Do you have any idea how can I correct this problem?

Make sure you delete that page from Trash, otherwise WP can’t use that URL slug.
